The Chairman, Bauchi State Civil Service Commission Alhaji Abubakar Usman has urged workers in the state to be committed to their official duties.
The Chairman emphasized that workers need to reciprocate the gesture done to them by the present administration of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for implementing the new minimum wage of 70,000 to Civil Servants in the State.
He warned that the commission would not condone absenteeism, habitual lateness, and leaving work before the scheduled time.
The Chairman called on all staff across MDAs to be discipline and dedication to duty, stressing that misconduct will not be tolerated.
In his New Year message, Alhaji Abubakar commended Governor Mohammed and his cabinet for their commitment to the progress and development of Bauchi State, particularly civil service reforms.
He expressed optimism that 2025 will be a productive and peaceful year, free from challenges, and wished all staff a prosperous New Year and a joyful Yuletide celebration.
