Women advised to check their breast for early detection of cervical cancer.

 

Community of Gandu in Zungur District, Bauchi local Government area have been charged to educate their children especially the Girl child.

The Chairperson Education Commettee Of FOMWAN Hajiya Fatsuma Muhammad made the call during the world hijab Day celebration and cancer awareness organized by the Youth FOMWAN Bauchi chapter.

Hajiya Fatsuma Muhammad said education is the only legacy that parents should left behind for their children as inheritance, hence the need for the community to send their children to school to acquire both Islamic and western education.

Delivering a lecturer on the important of wearing hijab by Muslim women Dr Umar Shehu said wearing the hijab by Muslim women and the younger ones is the command of Allah.

Also speaking on Brest cancer, Dr Habibah Isma’il from Specialist Hospital Bauchi, advised women to always check their breast after their menstruation period, saying that can give them chance to know if there is a problem in their breast.

Earlier, the Ameerah of FOMWAN Hajiya Habiba Sa’ad Usman said they were at the Gandu Community to show their love as Muslim sisters In Islam and educate them about the important of wearing hijab as Muslims and sensitive them on cancer disease.

Speaking on behalf of the Community members Imam Ibrahim Gandu and Malama Aisha Muhammad thanked FOMWAN for the gesture and prayed Allah to reward them aboundently.

They appealed to FOMWAN and other philanthropic organizations to renovate their Mosque and provide their school with teachers to assist their children to be well educated.
