Speaker Bauchi Legislature Mourns death of onetime NLC Leader in Bauchi

The Speaker of Bauchi State House of Assembly, Abubakar Y. Suleiman, has on behalf of the Members and staff of the house extended their condolences to the family,the labour community over the demise of Comrade Abdullahi Koli.

In a statement signed by the spokesman of the speaker, Muktar Garba Kobi and made available to newen, the Speaker prayed Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest and the fortitude to his family members to bear the irreparable loss.

The speaker described the deceased as a fearless leader and risk-taker for the sake of others who dedicated his entire life and privileges to the public service, workers’ unionism and serving as voice of the people whose freedom of expression were infringed.

According to the statement, Comrade. Koli had guided several young writers whose works compete in the global pages, his incomparable indepth analysis gave hints to concerned bodies while serving a formidable link between the government and the governed.
