As part of measures to ensure a credible and hitch-free recruitment exercise, the Commissioner of Police, Bauchi State Command, CP Sani-Omolori Aliyu, has personally supervised the conduct of the written examination for applicants seeking enlistment as Police Constables at the Police Training School recruitment exercise, Yelwa, Bauchi.
The exercise, which commenced on 28th April, twenty twenty six, is being conducted nationwide by the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) in collaboration with the Police Service Commission (PSC) for applicants who successfully passed the physical and credentials screening.
This was disclosed by the Commissioner in a Press Release.through the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer SP Nafiu Habib and made available to newsmen.
During the inspection, visit, the Commissioner went round examination halls to assess the level of compliance with laid down guidelines, he expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the examination, the orderliness of applicants, and the professionalism displayed by Police personnel and Police Service Commission officials assigned to the centre.
While addressing the applicants, the CP Sani Omolori Aliyu reiterated that the recruitment exercise is entirely free of charge and transparent.
He warned applicants and members of the public to desist from any form of examination malpractice, impersonation, or inducement, stressing that anyone caught will be investigated and prosecuted in accordance with the law.
He further commended the Police Service Commission team, examination supervisors, and security personnel for their dedication to ensuring the integrity of the process, and urged applicants to remain focused and assured them that only qualified candidates will be selected strictly on merit.
The Commissioner also used the forum and warned fraudsters who parade themselves as agents of the Police by extorting money from applicants, should forward their complaints through it’s official portal: *www.npfapplication.psc.gov.ng* or the Command’s Public Relations Office.
The Command reassured the public of its commitment ensure transparent recruitment process that will produce disciplined and patriotic officers that will serve the nation.
