PDP in Misau local Govt unveils chairmanship and councillors for the forthcoming LG polls.
The Misau local government chapter of the People’s Democratic Party has unveiled it’s chairmanship and councillorship candidates for the forthcoming local government elections in the state.
The candidates that emerged successful through consensus where presented before party loyalists, elders and stakeholders in an event held at the residence of Chairman Stakeholders, Alh Muhammad Yarima.
Receiving the candidates, the chairman PDP stakeholders in Misau local government Alhaji Muhammad Yarima said the the PDP adopted consensus among the contenders due to its known tradition of loyalty, discipline and mutual respect for each other, noting that the exercise was conducted peacefully.
He called on party members and members of the public to vote for all PDP candidates in the election, saying the party will be victorious due to the laudable people oriented projects it is executing across the state.
He enjoyed all party members and contenders for the various positions to work in harmony party stakeholders towards the success of the party, saying there’s no doubt that the PDP is the last hope of common man.
Also speaking, Misau Local Government PDP Chairman Abdu Haruna Sirko thanked the stakeholders and all the contenders for the maturity shown during the exercise, which he said it is a testimony of their dedication towards uplifting the party.
Speaking onbehalf of all the candidates, the Chairmanship candidate of the local Govt election Salisu Husssini, thanked the party for the confidence repose in them, saying they will not fail the electorates and will continue to be good ambassadors of the PDP.
Representative of the party leadership at the State level who witnessed the event, Malam Nura Isah Akuyam, commended the conduct of the exercise.
