PDP caucus of the Bauchi State Assembly describes threat by FCT minister to Bauchi as reckless and uncalled for.

PDP caucus of the Bauchi State House of Assembly have described the threat by the FCT minister Nelson Wike as reckless, uncalled for and unacceptable in Bauchi state politics.
They made the resolution when the member representing Kirfi Constituency in the state assembly Barrister Habib Umar presented a motion under matters of urgent public importance during plenary.
The lawmaker in his presentation condemned the FCT minister’s comments, threatened to instigate crisis in any state, whose governor interfered with the Rivers State politics, especially Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed.
Barrister Habib Umar who advised relevant security agencies to take note of Wike’s threat, saying his statement undermines efforts by the Nigerian Governor to build and maintain peaceful coexistence in their States.
According to him, members of the tenth has passed vote of confidence on the state governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for his leadership style of repositioning Bauchi State for rapid development.
In their contributions, the member representing Bauchi Central Constituency Jamilu Umaru Dahiru, member representing Shira Constituency Auwal Hassan and that of Burra Constituency Ibrahim Tanko said it is unfortunate for a public figure like Wike to make such statement.
They called on Wike to use his position and wealth of experience in addressing issues of National interest not selfish interest for nation building.
Meanwhile, the Member Representing Dass Constituency in the state assembly Ahmed Abdullahi has appealed to the state government to construct a road from kwanar Sayaw to Doka Village in Dass Local Government Area to address transportation problem of the communities.
He made the appeal in a motion he presented during plenary presided over by speaker Abubakar Y. Sulaiman.
According to him, the poor condition of the road has isolated the communities to have access to social amenities.
Ahmed Abdullahi therefore called on the executive arm to make the road it major priority project in Dass local government area in crease the revenue drive of the local government and the state in general.
