Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has flagged off the construction of 38 kilometres road from Bara-Hashidu-Tubule-Garin Malam Julde-Wanka in Kirfi local government area of the state worth over 11 billion naira.
The governor has also flagged off the rehabilitation of Alkaleri -Kirfi at cost of over 6 billion naira.
Speaking at the ground breaking ceremony, Governor Bala Mohammed said the flagging off of the projects are milestones in the fulfilment of his campaign promised of transforming rural communities for rural development.
The Governor said already 30 percent of the funds for the projects have been released to the contractors to facilitate the commencement of the projects for timely completion.
He noted that infrastructure projects embarked upon by his administration would go along way in enhancing socio-economic development for the rapid development of the state.
On his part, the Commissioner for Works and Transport, Ibrahim Gambo Galadima appreciated Governor Bala Mohammed for supporting the ministry to deliver on its mandate for infrastructure development.
