Participants of course 33 of the Nigerian Army appreciates Bauchi Security architecture.

Participants of course thirty three of the Nigerian Defence college Abuja have expressed satisfaction with the Bauchi security architecture.

The team leader of the participants, Brigadier General Mohammed Sani Usman made the comment when he led the participants on courtesy visit to the Armour Corps centre and school, thirty three armoured brigade, Ministry of internal security and Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Tomb, Bauchi.

He said the mission of the college, is to prepare the selected army officers and their civilian counterparts for higher level policies by giving them expertise and knowledge needed to function in National and International assignments.

According to him, the college which was established in nineteen ninety two have so far trained over two thousand two hundred and forty participants, consisting of one thousand and twenty five army officers, four hundred and ninety three Naval officers, four hundred and forty one air Force officers, eighty three officers from the Nigerian Police as well as one hundred and forty nine senior staff of various ministries departments and agencies.

The team leader pointed out that the present course thirty three have participants from about twenty three countries, including Botswana, Benin Republic, Burkina Faso, Cameron, Brazil, Egypt,Gambia, Kenya, Liberia, Nepal, Morocco and others.

He said the tour is to widen the participants horizon on number of subjects in five states of Akwa Ibom, Bauchi,Sokoto,Imo and plateau states for one week.

He added that at the end of the tour the participants are expected to write a report which will cover a lot of aspects from what Bauchi is doing and making recommendations for areas of improvement.

In their responses, the commander Armoured corps major general Mohammed Sani Ahmed represented by the commandant Nigerian Army Armor school Major General Adekunle Adekeye, commissioner ministry of Internal security and Home affairs Barrister Abubakar Abdulhamid, Commandant thirty three Armoured Brigade Brigadier General Emmanuel Egbe as well as officer in charge of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Tomb Hajiya Habiba Aliyu Dadi expressed their happiness with the visit.
