Ningi Local Govt Council engages casual health workers for effective Service Delivery

The chairman Ningi local government;Council, Alhaji Nasiru Zakarai Dankasuwa has engaged the services of twelve casual health staff to man the health needs at Gadar Maiwa healthcare facility.

Speaking on the issue, the council chairman stated that he decided to absorb indigenes of Gadar Maiwa community most of whom were health professionals; to curtail the inadequate manpower at the centre, as well as to secure job opportunities to the teaming unemployed within Gadar Maiwa community.

He said due process in the engagement exercise has been duely undertaken and enjoined applicants who did not scale through the interview to be patient as government would look into their conditions as soon as possible.

It will be recalled that in recent past, the local government council had also engaged the services of retired nurses on the basis of allowances; to help to man affairs at government general hospital Ningi.
