NGEIL Humanity Foundation empowers 200 Women in Toro on Cosmetology skills.

The Ngeil Humanity Foundation has empowered 200 women in Toro Local Government Area with various cosmetology skills under its Batch B empowerment programme, aimed at improving livelihoods and reducing poverty at the grassroots.

Speaking at the occasion, the founder of the Foundation, Engineer Abdullahi Sa’idu Gumau reaffirmed the foundation resolve to strengthen community development through continuous empowerment programmes, especially for elders and youths in the area.

According to him, the initiative is part of his ongoing commitment to support women, promote self-reliance and enhance economic development in the communities.

He explained that, the Batch B training was introduced to expand the number of beneficiaries following the success recorded in the first batch.

Engineer Abdullahi Sa’idu Gumau noted that, the Foundation will continue to widen its reach to ensure more women acquire sustainable skills.

He encouraged them to used the funds and starterpacks given to them judiciously for self reliance.

Some of the beneficiaries expressed appreciation to the Foundation for the opportunity, describing the training as timely and impactful.

They noted that, the skills gained would enable them to start small businesses and support their families financially.

They also pledged to support him achieve his future political ambition.

The beneficiaries, drawn from different communities across the LGA, received practical training in cosmetology, including soap making, body cream production, perfume and disinfectant formulation, among other income-generating skills.
