The newly posted Assistant Inspector of Police AIG Zone twelve, in charge of Bauchi and Gombe States, AIG Vungmoh S. M Kwaimo has pledged to clamp down on those committing crimes and criminality within the two states.
AIG Kwaimo stated this on assumption of office as the thirty first Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone twelve which took place at the Zone’s headquarters Bauchi.
He called on officers and men under zone twelve to give him the necessary support to enable him achieve the goals of protecting lives and property of the people.
He warned that he will not condone any form of absenteeism, and urged the Officers of the zone to be their brother’s keeper and promised to ensure the welfare of the Officers to enable them discharge their constitutional responsibilities effectively.
He appealed to the public to always report any suspicious movement capable of breaking law and order, as the command was prepared to act swiftly over such reports.
AIG Kwaimo succeeds AIG Abubakar Sadiq who retired from the force on age grounds.
