The Chairman of Katagum local government council Alhaji Yusuf Babayo Zaki has apeared before the House Committee on Appropriation, presided by Mohammad Wanzam to defen2026 budget.
Speaking shortly after the presentation, the council boss said this years proposed budget will expend on capital project.
Represented by his deputy Alhaji Misbahi Ibrahim Gwasamai, the Chairman assured that he will ensure strict adherence to budget estimate.
Commenting on the interactive sessions with the committee members, Alhaji Babayo said certain grey areas were identified which needed modifications and correction, which no doubt will amended.
Meanwhile, the Chairman Shira Local government Babangida Maliya was also represented by his deputy Alhaji Ali Adamu, for the Budget defence, where he said this years projected budget will ficus on water, education, health all for the growth and development of the area.
Commenting on the interactive session with the house committee ,the Chairman explained that members of the Appropriation Committee had recommended the council boss for explicit presentation .
