A reknown Islamic Scholar in Bauchi, and the chairman Izalatil Bid’a wa Igamatus Sunnah Bauchi State branch , Professor Zubairu Abubakar Madaki has charged clergymen to adhere to islamic teachings as they conduct the ongoing Ramadan Tafsir.
Professor Madaki who made the call at the newly renovated and expanded Umar bn Khattab Juma’at Mosque, Bauchi., decried the attitude of some Islamic clerics who often preached adherance to the teachings of Islam, but instead they tend to practice the opposite.
Professor Madaki also frowned at those who give preferential treatments to their wives over their mothers, stressing that such acts could geopardize their chances of attracting Allah’s mercy in the hereafter.
He therefore advised Muslims to take advantage of the remaining days in the month of Ramadan to dedicate their souls to the worship of Allah with a view to acquiring Devine blessings.
