The acting Provost of the Federal College of Education, Jama’are, Dr. Abraham Gana, has pledged to prioritise staff welfare as part of efforts to create conducive teaching and learning environment in the institution.
Dr. Gana made the disclosure in an interview with our reporter in his office.
He stressed that the wellbeing of staff remains a critical factor in achieving academic excellence and institutional growth.
He noted that motivated and well-supported staff are better positioned to deliver quality education.
The Acting Provost also commended the cordial working relationship existing between the college, the Jama’are Local Government Council, as well as the Jama’are Emirate Council, describing the synergy as vital to the smooth running and development of the institution.
Dr. Gana further disclosed plans by the management to expand the academic scope of the college through the introduction of degree programmes and other relevant courses in line with current educational demands.
The Acting Provost reassured students, staff, and other stakeholders of his commitment to sustain the legacy of the college while exploring new opportunities that will reposition it for greater achievements.
