The Federal Commission Consumer Protection Commission FCCPC has expressed determination towards safeguard and building confidence in the minds of the consumers .
The Zonal Coordinator Federal Commission Consumer Protection Commission Northeast Zonal office Bauchi Dauda Amadu Waja stated this in an interview with newsmen in Bauchi ahead of this year’s world consumers right Day scheduled to hold 15 of March 2024.
Dauda Ahmadu said Such will aid the public know their rights as consumers and encourage fair businesses among the public and the business class as well as safeguard the interest of the consumer.
He explained that the day is to equip the consumer on an ear eye artificial intelligence feature.
According to him every 15th March the Consumer international survey raises global consumer awareness,consumer protection and consumer empowerment.
The Zonal Coordinator pointed out that their campaign will build on public awareness drive discussion on ear eye through social media campaign to understand consumer experiences.
Dauda Ahmadu urged the public to join the Commission on Friday March 15th 2024 between 10:00 am – 2:00 PM on Microsoft webner in commemoration of world consumer rights day 2024.
