EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN BOGORO LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL , REITERATES THE NEED TO IMPROVE QUALITY OF EDUCATION IN BOGORO AND BAUCHI STATE IN GENERAL .

The Executive Chairman Bogoro Local Government Council , Surveyor Yakubu Lawi Sumi has reiterated the need to improve the quality of education in Bogoro and Bauchi state in general .

The University Don who stated this at the end of his tour in Lusa District to assess problems encountered by teachers at the Primary and the Upper Basics, charged them to be deligent in the discharge of their duties and pledged his administration’s commitment to mitigate some of the challenges raised.

He urged them not to wait for government to meet all their needs, and. Urged them to initiate programmes aimed at improving the Education sector.

The chairman appealed to them to consider the children as their own bearing in mind that without education no society can develop.

The Chairman assured of the readiness of his council members to supervise the teachers in their places of assignment and any project under execution with a view to assessing the sector

The Acting District Head of Lusa Mr Dauda Zabas thanked the Chairman and his entourage and appreciated to the Chairman to look into the education sector aimed at addressing the plight of teachers.

Earlier, In an interview with the Education Secretary Mr Soul Samuel Mamman appreciated the Chairman and the teachers for their support and pledged to continue to support his administration at all times.

Also speaking, the NUT Chairman Comrade Gideon Tukur Gambo , thanked the Chairman and his team, for. their support and encouragement, and urged them to redouble their efforts towards achieving the desired objective.
