The Emir of Jama’are, Alhaji Nuhu Muhammad Wabi, has conferred the traditional title of Sarauniyar Jama’are on the Bauchi State First Lady, Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed, in recognition of her contributions to the development of women and children in the state.
A delegation from the Jama’are Emirate Council, led by the Wamban Jama’are, Alhaji Abubakar, delivered the message of the appointment during a visit to the First Lady at her residence.
Receiving the delegation, Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed expressed gratitude to the Emir for the honour bestowed on her, describing the title as a great responsibility and a mark of trust from the Jama’are Emirate.
She assured the Emirate of her continued support towards the growth and development of the Jama’are Emirate and the welfare of its people.
The First Lady also appreciated members of the delegation for conveying the Emir’s message,and prayed Allah to reward them abundantly.
Speaking earlier, the Wanban Jama’are, Alhaji Abubakar, said the delegation was at the First Lady’s residence on behalf of the Emir to formally convey the appointment.
He explained that the traditional title was conferred in recognition of Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed’s commitment and support to women, children and vulnerable groups across Bauchi State.
According to him, the Emirate considers the title a well deserved honour in appreciation of the First Lady’s humanitarian contributions and her support to the Jama’are Emirate and the state at large.
