Drug awareness Group seeks partnership with Brc to tackle drug Abuse in the Society

The United Against Drugs Awareness group,, has solicited the support of Bauchi Radio Corporation towards its campaign in educating women and youths on the dangers of drug abuse in the state
Chairman of the group, Muhammad Yunusa, made the appeal during a courtesy visit the management of the Corporation
He said the importance of media support to effective sensitization of the public cannot be overemphasized, adding that BRC was chosen as the first broadcast media partner to work with the group in raising awareness among women and youths in the state
Also speaking, Vice Chairman of the group Usman Gital noted that BRC’s reach could help the group achieve about 70% of its awareness targets.
Responding, the Managing Director Bauchi Radio Corporation, Alhaji Umar Muhammad Shira, thanked the group for the visit and expressed confidence in its plans to sensitize women and youth. On effect of drug abuse
Alhaji Shira urged the group leaders to remain dedicated, stressing that the fight against drug abuse concerns everyone, and assured that his doors would remain open to offer advice for the progress of the organization.
