Committee on Allocation of Farmlands orders for revoking of unAuthorised Property

The Committee on Allocation of Farmlands in De-reserved Forest has directed Misau Local Government Council to immediately revoke any land allocation not formally approved by the State Government.
Chairman of the committee, Comrade Sale Umar Misau, issued this directive during an inspection tour of designated de-reserved forest areas in Balewal and Maladumba Forest Reserve in Misau Local Government Area.
Comrade Sale Umar explained that the committee’s primary mandate is to ensure orderly and proper allocation of lands, emphasizing that their work would be incomplete if any questionable allocations were allowed to go through.

While commending the local government on the way allocation was carried out in Maladumba Forest particularly for incorporating cattle routes, grazing areas, and water points, Comrade Sale stated that it is not expected for the council exceed limits approved by authority.

Comrade Sale Umar therefore advised the local government council to review all allocations in Madakiri, Karalle, Udubowal, Sabogel, Jarmai, Gumza, Balewal, and Bayan Navy Forest Reserves, as these areas were not officially mapped for distribution.
