Hon. Yakubu Ibrahim Hamza , the Honorable Commissioner for Religious affairs and Societal reorientation in Bauchi State, has officiated the inauguration of new appointees to chair and serve on various boards and agencies within the Ministry of Religious affairs. Expressing gratitude for their selection, Yakubu Ibrahim Hamza highlighted the deliberate effort by His Excellency, Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, to inject fresh leadership into the Ministry to enhance productivity.
Addressing the newly appointed officials, Hon. Yakubu Ibrahim Hamza emphasized their selection was based on their proven track records of hard work, commitment, and support for Governor Mohammed’s vision for the religious sector. He urged them to cooperate with the Ministry to ensure effective collaboration and understanding, essential for achieving the Governor’s goal in Bauchi State.

In their acceptance speeches shortly after the inauguration of the new Boards by the commissioner for Religious affairs and Societal Reorientation, Hon Yakubu Ibrahim Hamza, the new Chairman of Bauchi State Shari’ah Commission, Hamisu Ya’u Dass PhD, Chairman Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board, Nura Adamu Jumba and Christian Pilgrim Welfare Board Simon Sarauta Balewa, said the ultimate goal of the present administration of Governor Bala Mohammed is to serve the people of the state, acknowledge that with the guidance of the governor, the board has witnessed a remarkable transformation in the State.
They noted that governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad administratio huge investment in the religious sector has been instrumental in improving peace in the state and continued support and belief in the Boards have paved and the way to numerous initiatives and infrastructure projects that have greatly enhanced its capabilities.
