Bauchi State Traditional Medicine Practitioners Seek Government Support for Improved Operations.

The Nigeria Association of Modern Traditional Medicine Practitioners MTMPN Bauchi state branch has appealed to the state government to support them with office accommodation and other facilities to enhance their productivity.

The State Chairman of the Association Dr Ibrahim Baka Matsala who stated this during a meeting with members of the association in Bauchi.

He said that, if supported, it would enable them to improve their activities and complement the government’s efforts in the health sector.

Also speaking one of its members from Toro local government area Hajiya Maryam who expressed displeasure over the non challant attitude of members said such behavior might bring set back towards the development of the association.

Addressing the gathering, the Special Adviser to the National President MTMPN Dr. Nuhu Waziri call for unity among members saying that no meaningful development will be achieved without unity hence the need for unity in order to achieve the desired objectives.

Dr.Nuhu Waziri call on them to always update their knowledge for them to contribute their quota in the health sector.
