BAUCHI STATE SHARI’A COMMISSION TRAINS OVER THIRTY HIZBA PERSONNEL FROM THE TWENTY LOCAL GOVERMENT AREAS OF THE STARE ON. OPERATIONAL GUIDELINES

Two hundred and thirty Hisbah personnel from the 20 local government areas of Bauchi state are currently undergoing training on operational guidelines.
At the opening ceremony in Bauchi,the Chairman Bauchi state Sharia commission Dr. Hamisu Yau Dass solicit the support of Hisbah board kano towards improving on the productivity of its Hisbah personnel.
Dr. Hamisu Yau commended Bauchi state government for repositioning and empowering the Hisbah Command saying that it would go a long way in addressing ill vices in the state.
In a remark, the Commander General Kano Hisbah Board Sheik Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa who said 12 States of the federation practice Sharia law explained that the role of Hisbah cannot be overemphasize hence the need for Muslims to live thier lives in conformity with the teachings of Islam.
Shiek Aminu Daurawa who is the guest speaker said Hisbah is being guided by the Constitution and urged Hisbah personnel to operate within the confines of the law.
Also speaking, the Commissioner of Religious Affairs and societal reorientation Alhaji Yakubu Ibrahim Hamza urged the Hisbah personnel to ensure they have fact and authentic information before acting on a certain issue.
Declaring the workshop opened, Secretary to Bauchi state government Barrister Kashim Ibrahim said the state government will do the needful towards ensuring that the state witness a crime free Society.
Barrister Ibrahim Kashim enjoined the Hisbah personnel to imbibe the virtues of good leadership in the cause of their duties in order to win the conference of people.
