The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested a special gang of thieves who specialized in stealing Mikano Generators in the state and some neighboring States.
The State Commissioner of Police Auwal Musa Muhammad announced the arrest while parading the suspects at the Bauchi State Police Command.
The Police Commissioner said the suspects have confessed to have stolen the generators at National Open University of Nigeria, the Zonal cold store of Primary Healthcare Development Agency, and Azare Radio Station all in Azare town, Katagum Local Government Area.
The suspects arrested are Adamu Ibrahim of Zigau, Ibrahim Adamu of Azare, Musa Aliyu alias Manager of Gwoza, Borno State,
Alhaji Sani of Kano State,
Sani Adamu of Gadau,
Rilwanu Saidu of Kano State, Victor Moses of Hotoro Kano State,
Isaac Success of Sabon Gari, Kano State
Adamu Ahmad of Azare town, and Destiny Ihekwoabah of Dutsen Bukuma, of FCT Abuja, as the receiver of the stolen generators.
