BAUCHI STATE MUSLIM PILGRIMS WELFARE BOARD PARTNERS STATE FIRE SERVICE FOR SUCCESSFUL HAJJ EXERCISE

The Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has expressed readiness to collaborate with the State Fire Service to ensure seamless hajj operation in Bauchi State.

. The Executive Secretary of the Board Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris disclosed this when the Director Bauchi State Fire Service Builder Dauda Bala Pali led his management staff on a courtesy visit to the Executive Secretary in his office.

Imam Abdurrahman stated that the Fire Service Authority is an important agency that plays vital role in the areas of rescue, fire prevention, fire fighting as well as promotion of fire fighting education.

He noted that the role of fire service cannot be over emphasis during hajj operation and, urged them to continue to give their unflinching support at the Airport and hajj camp to ensure a hitch free excercise.

Imam Abdurrahman further said adequate fire education would surely reduce the rate of fire incident, advising the fire service to provide other modalities in order to promote fire education and enlightenment.

Earlier in his remarks, the Director fire service said the visit was aimed at strengthening existing relationship with the Board, and assured of the fire service authority’s continued contribution to the success of hajj operation.
