Bauchi State Govt. reaffirms commitment to improve education sector.

Bauchi State Government has reiterated its commitment towards improving the quality of education in the state

The State Commissioner of education Dr Jamila Dahiru stated this during an engagement meeting with education stakeholders organized by state ministry of education with support from Accelerated Senior Secondary Education Program and north East Development Commission held at Hazibal Hotel and Suites, Bauchi.

Dr Jamila Dahiru emphasized the need for each stakeholders in educational sector to play a unique role to increase support to achieve the set objectives

The commissioner also assured the state government readiness to continue partnering with federal Government and relevant organizations to improve learning process in the state

Dr Jamila Dahiru however called on the participants to be attentive during the interactive session to gain the need knowledge to achieve the set goals of the programme.

Earlier, the senior special assistant to the president and national focal person of accelerated senior secondary education program Dr Maryam Masha said the aimed of the program is to increase enrollment of students, training of teachers to improve learning process in secondary Schools

On his part, the State ANCOPSS President Malam Rabiu Bello assured the association’s readiness towards supporting governments educational policies and programs at all levels to improve the education standards in the country.
