Bauchi State Govt assures Sustainability of MEDA project in the State

The Bauchi state first lady Dr Aisha Bala Muhammad has described the MEDA Nigeria Way women and Youth project as bedrock of enpowerment which focused attention on processing rice, soya beans and groundnut value chains in accordance with the mordern way.

Dr Aisha Bala Muhammad stated this during a close out event of Meda way Project held at the multipurpose indoor sport hall Bauchi.

She said the remarkable journey that started in twenty seventeenth that has yield positive resilience, empowerment, and transformative change for the women and Youth of Northern Nigeria.

The state first lady also said the project has equipped women and Young entrepreneurs with tools to enhance productivity, embrace sustainable practices and access markets and financial services

Dr Aisha Bala Muhammad further said the Bauchi state proud to established the first women owned micro finance institution that supports women’s businesses, that is the women in business Forum which was instituted by the way Project.

She added that with the immense support of the Bauchi state Government the project has established sustainability structures using existing Government strategic plans and collaborating with ministries, departments and agencies.

Dr Aisha Bala Muhammad therefore sai the Nigeria way Project is forward the spirit of employment, resilience, and sustainable development it is one of the cardnal objectives with her Foundation Al’muhinbbah to unlocked women potentials in order to become innovative and self – reliant.

She commended the Meda Nigeria way Project for her tirelessly effort to change the life of women and youth to be self reliance among citizen.

In her contribution during the event Director General Million Development Goals Mrs Lydia John Shehu said Meda Nigeria way Project achieved a lot in seven local Government Areas of the State.

Mrs Lydia Shehu commended the Meda for their efforts towards empowering women and Youth to become self reliance in the state.

In her vote of thanks the country manager Meda Nigeria way Project Mrs Grace Fossen said the project built the capacity of women in a value chains products to include rice, soya beans and groundnut to know how to do their business and to mordernised the business, with the aim of creating business solutions to poverty.

support towards the success of the project in the state.
