Bauchi state govt. Approves 18 million naira for the renovation of selected secondary schools.

Bauchi State Government has allocated over eighteen million naira for minor repairs of eleven selected secondary schools in the state.

This is contained in a statement signed by the state information officer, ministry of education Jalaludeen Usman.

According to the statement the benefited schools include Government Secondary School Darazo, Government Girls College Hardawa, GSS Misau, GDSS Liman Katagum, GDSS Birshin Fulani

The rest are GG Tafawa Balewa, Government Arabic College Alkaleri, GDSS Tilden Fulani, GSS Toro,Government Technical College Gumau and GGC Nabardo.

The State Commissioner for Education of education in the statement Dr. Jamila Dahiru said the repairs will address issues of roofing, cracked walls, malfunctioning electrical systems and other pressing maintenance needs.

Dr. Jamila Dahiru urged the management of the benefiting schools to imbibe the culture of maintenance.

The commissioner noted that, the state government efforts demonstrated a strong commitment of prioritising school facilities, learning experience for students, fostering better academic outcomes and overall well-being.
