BAUCHI STATE GOVERMENT CONSTRUCTS MORDERN COTTAGE HOSPITAL IN ALKALERI LOCAL GOVERMENT AREA

Bauchi state Government has constructed a modern cottage hospital in Duguri town Alkaleri Local Government Area of the state.

Assessing the level of the facility provided to the hospital, the state Commissioner of Health Doctor Sani Muhammad Dambam, expressed delight with the establishment of the healthcare facility by Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad, adding that the hospital, is to ease access to the healthcare status of the people of the area.

He explained that the Bauchi State Hospital Management Board is saddled with the responsibilities of maintaining operational standard of all healthcare facilities across all the twenty local government areas of the state and promised to ensure good working environment in Cottage hospital Duguri for the benefit of the people.

The Commissioner noted that medical drugs were provided for the smooth take off of the hospital which according to him the modern healthcare facility will be fully functional by January twenty twenty five next year.

He enjoined the entire management of the hospital and the community of Duguri town to protect the hospital from vandalisation in order to achieve the set objectives.

In his remarks, the village head of Duguri, Alhaji Ibrahim Y M Baba appealed to the state government to consider the employment of casual healthcare workers who are working in various healthcare centers in the area to the hospital to continue to contribute their quoter to the development of the local government area and the state at large.

He called on the medical Doctors, and the entire staff posted to the hospital to be effecient at their work in order to achieve the desired goals.

The District Head of Duguri therefore commended Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad for providing a modern hospital and other infrastructural development to the area.

High point of the program was the presentation of a free eyes treatment to over two hundred patients in the hospital by Makka specialist hospital Bauchi.

In another development, the Glitter Sparkling Heart Foundation has appointed the District Head of Duguri Alhaji Ibrahim Y M Baba as the patron of the foundation.

Confirming the appointment to the district Head, the Secretary of the Foundation Ibrahim Hammayo said the appointment of the District Head is to lead the foundation to grater height.

The Founder of the Foundation, Saudatu Muhammad Abdullahi who presented a profile of the foundation to the Patron hope that the move will serve for the better performance of the foundation.

In his acceptance speech, the District Head of Duguri Alhaji Ibrahim Y M Baba thanked the Glitter Sparkling Heart Foundation for appointing him as its Patron and promised to do everything possible to ensure success of the Oganisation
