Bauchi State Contingent charged to abide by the rules of the National Qur’anic recitation competition.

The Bauchi at the ongoing Quranic Recitation Competition in Damaturu have been charged to exhibit the spirit of sportsmanship through out the period of the competition.

Addressing the contingents, the State Commissioner of Religious Affairs and Societal Reorientation, Alhaji Yakubu Ibrahim Hamza urged them to be good ambassadors of Islam and the state saying that is a rare privilege given to them by Allah and urged them to utilized it accordingly .

Alhaji Yakubu Hamza who was represented by the ministry’s permanent Secretary Alhaji Bala Manu Gadau explained that many youth are not opportune to participate in the competition and charged them to utilize their opportunity.

On his part the Chairman Bauchi State Quranic Recitation Competition committee Imam Hassan Zango who was represented by his secretary Ibrahim Muhammad Sadiq thanked the State government for giving them the enabling environment to take care of the state contingents.

Also Speaking the Coordinator Bauchi Quranic Recitation Competition committee Alarama Abubakar Rariya charged the participants to abide by the rules and regulations guiding the competition for them to become victorious.
