Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic Bauchi has matriculated newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session, marking the commencement of its academic journey at the institution.
Speaking during the ceremony, the Rector, Dr. Hashim Sabo Bello, congratulated the students on securing admission and urged them to strictly adhere to the institution’s rules and regulations.
He emphasized that the polytechnic maintains zero tolerance for anti-social behaviours, including cultism, examination malpractice, and drug abuse, warning that offenders would face disciplinary action.
Dr. Bello also expressed appreciation to the Bauchi State Government for its continued support, particularly in the provision of access roads and the payment of accreditation fees for academic programmes.
The Rector further commended the Federal Government of Nigeria for introducing the Nigeria Education Loan Fund programme, noting that it has significantly eased students’ registration challenges.
The event was attended by the Zonal Director of Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, Musa Mohammed, alongside principal officers, deans, members of the academic board, and staff of the institution.
