Assorted food items worth thousand of naira has been distributed in Alkaleri local government area In a peaceful atmosphere.
The head of Administration Alkaleri local government area Fatihu Adamu Musa made this known during the flagging off the distribution of the food items at the local government secretariat last week.
According to him, the assorted food items were provided by the federal government in cononxion with the Bauchi state government which is aimed at reducing the high rate of hardship and the lingering hunger bedeviling the poor people.
The HOA therefore, applauded the efforts of the federal and state governments sphere headed by Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad kauran Bauchi for their support and concerned to the people. He then, appealed to the beneficiaries to make good use of the food items given to them, while urging them to accord their ardent support and unflinching cooperations to the present administration of Senator Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad.
In his remarks, the director palliative Haruna Ahmed said, the distribution is within federal ward’s of the local government. And urged the committee members to desist from diverting the food items to another thing. And anybody found wanting would be sanction.
Earlier in his good will message, the district head of Pali Alhaji Garba Muhammad Sambo applauded the government for this effort while describing it as timely because it came at a time people are in need of support.
Various beneficiaries across the local government expressed their gratitude to kauran Bauchi administration and pledged to continue to render their support to his administration.
