The Assistant Inspector General of Police Zone Twelve in charge of Bauchi and Gombe AIG Vungmoh S. M Kwaimo has said no hiding Place for criminals within Bauchi and Gombe, in his welcome speech as the newly posted AIG in Bauchi, .Mr Vungmoh Kwaimo called on members of the public to continue to support the Police with useful informations in order to crack down Criminals within the Zone.
The AIG stated this through the Police Public Relations Officer Zone Twelve, S P Jalige Mohammed while parading suspected Armed Robbers terrorizing the public plying the road along Basirka and Darazo in Bauchi state.
The suspects apprehended are Musa Abdullahi AKA Bakwai thirty three, Hassan Ibrahim AKA Biale twenty seven, Ahmadu Umar AKA Duddu twenty four and Bello Yusuf AKA Suria twenty three.
They recovered fourty eight Cell phones and a knife suspected to have collected from the road users along the road in which investigation reveals that they have been terrorizing the people who are plying the road from Kano to Darazo local government areas and other parts of the area.
S P Jalige Mohammed said they have concluded their investigation and they will be charge to Court of competent jurisdiction.
According to the PPRO Zone Twelve, the AIG appreciated the public for their untiring support to the Police by giving them credible information that led to the apprehension of these ones.
In an interview with Musa Abdullahi AKA Bakwai the leader of the group pleaded guity of the allegation, noting with concern that they all regretted their actions and appealed to thos involved in such act to desist from the act or face the wrath of the Law.
