Leaders and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State have unanimously endorsed Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Speaking during the gathering, the Bauchi State APC Chairman, Alhaji Muhammad Hassan Tilde, urged citizens to continue praying for the party as it strives to move Nigeria to greater heights.
He noted that the APC-led administration has introduced impactful initiatives, including the Anchor Borrowers Programme, school feeding schemes, and infrastructural development such as road construction.
Tilde also emphasized the party’s commitment to implementing full local government autonomy across the country, stressing the importance of effective supervision at all levels of governance.
He commended party leaders and members in the state for their unity and cooperation, urging them to sustain the spirit for continued progress.
In his remarks, former Bauchi State Governor, Isa Yuguda, who serves as the Northeast Zonal Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, expressed gratitude to the people of Bauchi for their support during his tenure.
He reminded party members that politics should not be a “do-or-die affair” and advised aspirants to remain peaceful, noting that only one candidate will emerge as the APC’s governorship flag bearer in 2027.
Yuguda also commended President Tinubu for what he described as efforts to revive the economy and strengthen national security.
On his part, the Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Ali Pate, described the APC as the largest political party in Africa and affirmed that the party remains united in Bauchi State.
He revealed that over 2,000 youths in the state have been employed through federal government initiatives, while more than 100 primary healthcare centres have been renovated. He added that tertiary health institutions in Azare, Ningi, and Misau have been established or upgraded.
Pate called on the people of Bauchi State to continue supporting President Tinubu’sQ administration and extended the President’s appreciation to the state for its role in the success of the recent APC national convention.
Also speaking at the event, former Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar stated that, based on his assessment, President Tinubu deserves a second term considering what he described as numerous achievements recorded under his administration.
In a goodwill message, Dr. Bala Maijama’a Wunti, represented by Usman Ya’u Darazo, reaffirmed his support for Tinubu’s re-election bid and urged party members to present credible candidates for the 2027 governorship election in the state.
The motion endorsing President Tinubu for a second term was moved by Professor Ali Pate and seconded by former Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar, signaling a unified stance by APC stakeholders in Bauchi State.
