Al-Huda International Academy Bauchi graduates 147 students

Speaking on history of the school, the emir of Misau Alhaji Ahmad Sulaiman, recalled that Al-Huda International Academy, was established in two thousand and three with five teachers and one hundred and eighty students.

The Al-Huda International Academy Bauchi, has graduated one hundred and forty seven students in both the Haddah and Tartil sessions, in the school.

Speaking on history of the school, the emir of Misau Alhaji Ahmad Sulaiman, recalled that Al-Huda International Academy, was established in two thousand and three with five teachers and one hundred and eighty students, and the school, has been upgraded to over thirty teachers and about one thousand students now.

The emir of Misau, represented by the District Head of Hardawa, Alhaji Abubakar Garba Lili, called for the improvement of Islamiyya schools across the state, to produce an egalitarian society.

In his remarks the Vice Chancellor Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi, Professor Ahmad Muhamnad Abdul’azeez, who is also the Chairman of occasion, stressed the need for all hands to be on deck towards improving Islamic education.

Professor Ahmad Abdul’azeez expressed satisfaction with the contributions of management staff of the school, towards inculcating sound knowledge and moral discipline of Islam to the students, and called for it sustenance.

The guests speakers at the occasion, professor Mansur Isah Yelwa HOD Department of Islamic Law Bayero University Kano and the Executive Secretary Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Imam Abdulrahman Ibrahim Idris, described Islamic education as first revelation to prophet Muhamnad peace be upon him and make it mandatory to every Muslim to enable them worship their creator as enshrined in the holy Qur’an.

They called on parents to give more priority to the Islamic knowledge of their wards, in order to give them a good legacy in the world and the hereafter.

Professor Mansur Isah Yelwa and Imam Abdulrahman Idris, congratulated the graduants especially the old-timers students of the school, for their perseverance during the learning process and urged them to make good use with the knowledge Acquired, to improve their ibadat.

The guests speakers encouraged Muslims to be perpetual knowledge seekers, to meet with the global challenges.

In a votes of thanks on behalf  the graduands, the Chief Medical Director Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital Bauchi, Professor Yusuf Jibrin Bara and the Permanent Secretary State Universal Basic Education Board, Saleh Yakubu Ningi, expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah, for sparing their lives to witness the graduation ceremony and thanked teachers of the school for their selfless services and prayed God to reward them abundantly.

In his speech, the chairman Parent Advisory committee, Alhaji Dahiru Tata, called on the parents to contribute positively towards overcoming the challenges facing by school.

Earlier the Principal of Al-Hudda International Academy GRA Bauchi, Mallam Ibrahim Saleh, enumerated some of the challenges to include lack of adequate Chairs, delay in payment of school fees, and assured that the management of the Academy, will do everything possible to impact sound Islamic Knowledge to the host environment.
