Bauchi Stae First Lady receives National council of women society

The Bauchi state first lady Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammed has pledged to prioritize issues that affects women in the state.

She made the pledge when she received leaders of the State Chapter of the National council of women society (NCWS) at the Government House, Bauchi.

She said NCWS must intensified efforts to empower and develop women to enable them become self reliant, going by the current challenges where women are the most vulnerable.

Hajiya Aisha said her doors would always remain open for useful advises towards the growth and development of the NCWS in the state.

Earlier, the State president NCWS Hajiya Jummai Liman Bello commended the state first lady for supporting women and children in the state.

Hajiya Jummai liman Bello said the aim of the visit was to congratulate the state first lady over the victory of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad at the supreme court.

She assured that the national council of women society of Nigeria,would continue to support the first lady in her efforts toward of assisting and empowering women and Youth in the state.
