Bauchi State ministry of Education has applauded State Chapter of FOMWAN in educating women in the state.
A staff in the ministry Malam Muhammad Haruna made the commendation during the Graduation ceremony of two hundred and ninety one women Group on literacy and Numeracy organising by FOMWAN in Bauchi.
Malam Muhammad Haruna said FOMWAN in the state has achieved a lot in the area of educating women and children in both rural and urban areas.
While congratulating the literacy students for the graduation, Malam Muhammad urged them to put into practice what they have learned.
Also speaking, the state FOMWAN Project Coordinator Hajiya Fatsuma Muhammad said the the organization was established to champion activities of women for them to role model in the society.
While calling on the graduands to further their education, Hajiya Fatsuma Muhammad appealed to other organizations to emulate FOMWAN in assist women.
Some of the graduands interviewed, Malama Halima Abubakar and Malama Sakina Haruna thanked FOMWAN for gesture and prayed Allah to reward them aboundently.
They promised to step down the knowledge acquired to others.
Highlight at the event, was presentation of certificates to the graduands.
