Gov. Bala Mohammed calls for love, peace and Unity in the state

Bauchi State Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has assured that members of the Christian Community in the state would continue to be part of his administration transformation initiative in view of their support in maintaining peace and unity across in the state.

He gave the assurance when he received members of Christian community led by the state chapter of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) on Christmas Homage at Government House, Bauchi.

Bala Mohammed who said throughout his lifetime, Jesus Christ preaches peace, honesty and love for one another as well as the fear of Good charged the Christian faithful to imbibe the sprit by observing the Christmas in a manner that would strengthen the existing harmonious relationship among adherent of other religions.

The Governor urged christians in the state to continue playing for government at all levels towards bringing positive policies and programmes for the overall development of the state.

While wishing them a successful celebrations, Governor Bala Mohammed assured that his administration would commence the second phase of transformation initiatives in all parts of the state including communities where Christians are majority in population

Earlier, the Bauchi State Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria Reverend Abraham Damina who acknowledged the received of items worth one hundred and twenty million naira for Christmas Celebrations commended the governor for the gesture.

Also speaking, Pastor Zakka Magaji and National President Zarr Community Association Engineer Isuwa Galla dwelled much on the significance of Christmas and called on their subjects to be law abiding throughout Christmas and New Years period.
