Various support groups in Toro local Government area have indicated their total support and cooperation to the local Government administration.
The support group leaders include, Auwal Bala of Nabordo Community, Abdulkarim Aliyu Hamlet Head of Polci, Malam Akibu Raddulmukazzibina of Fitiyanul Islam, Malam Sule Mamuda of Rama Vigilante group among others.
The leaders of the support groups who spoke separately during a courtesy visit to the chairman of the council in his office, said purpose of the visit is to congratulate the new Chairman and tender their support and cooperation toward the success of the Local Government.
According to them, the movement is to support Governor Bala Mohammed administration for his proactive and resourceful to the overall development of Toro LGA.
They used the medium to appeal to the local government Chairman to work along with relevant stakeholders in the area to meet the need and aspirations of various communities of Toro Local Government.
The community leaders who commended the council executive Chairman for his leadership style, since he assumed office, urged him to maintain the tempo.
Responding, the Executive Chairman of Toro Local Government Pharmacist Ibrahim Abubakar Dembo commended the groups for the kind gesture, saying his door will remain open for useful suggestions, contribution and constructive criticism that will move the local government forward.
Pharmacist Abubakar Dembo described the groups as role models and charged them to maintain peace, unity and cordial working relation in their various domain and promised to work hand in hand with them for the progress and development of Toro local Government area.
According to him, the council will remain committed in ensuring that the well being of people of Toro Local Government is protected.
The Chairman use the medium to appreciate Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir for executing laudable projects that have direct bearing to the people of the area and assured his council readiness to compliment his effort at the Local Government level.
