Toro Local Council pledges to support WASH SAID Funded projects in the area.
Toro Local Government Administration has promised to support WASH AID Funded projects across the local government.
The Executive chairman of the council Pharmacist Ibrahim Abubakar Dembo made the promised while receiving Wash aid consultant in his office.
Ibrahim Abubakar Dembo who acknowledged the contribution of WASH Aid Fund Projects in the local government, saying many communities have access to potable drinking water and good sanitary condition as a result of their project in the area.
Earlier, the Acting General Manager RUWASA Bauchi state Alhaji Bala Zailani said they are in the local government to seek for active support to ensure success of the Wash aid new projects in the local government.
Bappa Zailani said the new project include construction of Solar overhead water supply worth over 2.5 million naira across all wards of the local government, hence the need to secure a conducive environment for the execution of the project.
Also speaking, the WASH AID security consultant Mr. Ichic Onyenakie said he will collaborate with various security personnel to setup modalities for the hitch free implementation of the next phase of the project.
He said during the implementation of the program, series of projects would take place including training of personnel and mobilization of the benefiting communities.
