PHILANTROPISTS. DONATES LEARNING MATERIALS TO PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN DASS LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA
A philantropists in the state, Dr. Adamu Sulaiman Usman, has described Education as the bedrock of any meaningful development in the society.
Dr. Adamu Sulaiman Usman, made the remark while presenting chalks to some primary schools in Dass local government area, as part of his contribution to Senator Bala Mohammed Abdullkadir administration”s effort in improving the sector.
Presenting 9 cartoons to the Councilor Polchi Ward Hon, Gaius Sauki Buba, Dr. Adamu Sulaiman said, education remains the only asset parents can bequeath to their children so as to contribute their quota to nation building.
According to him, government alone cannot do it hence the need for individuals to contribute their quota in various ways toward building a future leaders that will stand the test of time especially in this present economic hardship, more need to be done in the education sector.
He pointed out that government efforts were aimed at reducing the burden on parents who spent a greater percentage of their meagre salaries on school fees to make life better for their children.
In his vote of thanks on behalf of the beneficiaries, the Councilor Polchi Ward Mr , Gaius Sauki Buba, expressed gratitude to the donor and assured to ensure judicious distribution across the schools.
