Over 250 elderly persons benefits from the Senator Oluremi Tinubu medical outreach in Bauchi

250 elderly person’s from bauchi state benefits from free medical outreach under the office of the first lady of Nigeria Oluremi Tinubu.

The initiative is to reduce hardship faced by Nigerian elders in the north east and the country at large, the event held at the office of the Bauchi state first lady.

According to her, Each of the selected beneficiaries would received a sum of one hundred thousand Naira and a bag of rice in order to cushion the effects of the economy situation and to alleviate the burden of esteem elders during the festive period.

Senator Oluremi Tinubu who was represented by state first lady Dr Aisha Bala Muhammad, said it be comes important to emphasize the significance of prioritize elderly citizens in her initiative.

She called on senior citizens to embrace to the fullest, prioritize health, Nurture their minds as well as strengthen their bonds with loves once as a key measures to live a better life in these golden years.

The wife of the president through the state first lady extend her heartfelt appreciation to the wives of the Governors, state Coordinators of Renewed Hope Initiative and Partners who supported with the free medical screening and the distribution of other items to the beneficiaries of the success of the program.

In her welcome address the state commissioner of women Affair social welfare and child development Hajiya Hajara Jibrin Gidado express the readiness of the ministry to support and cooperate with the initiative saying the cardinal mandate of the ministry is to ensure socio well-being of the people.

In her goodwill message at the occasion the special adviser to Governor on domestic and NGOs Hajiya Zainab AD Rufa’i commended the tirelessly effort of the state first lady for delivery the mandate assigned to her by the wife of the president.

During the occasion the state anguaranted the weves of the twenty local Government in the state as the coordinators of the program in their respective local Government areas.

In their separate vote of thanks on behalf of the beneficiaries Malam Maidawa and malama Salamatu Lawi thanks the first lady of the federation and State first lady Dr Aisha Bala for the gesture and they pray may Allah to reward them aboundently.
