NEDC Donates ₦2bn To Maiduguri Monday Market Fire Disaster Victims
The North East Development Commission (NEDC) Board and Management has donated the sum of two billion naira to victims Of Maiduguri Monday Market fire disaster.
Presenting the cheque to the Borno State Governor Professor Babagana Umara Zulum at the Government House, Borno, the chairman of the Commission Major General Paul Tarfa Retired, said the donation is to cushion the sufferings of the affected traders of Maiduguri Monday Market as well as re-establish their capital having lost so much to the inferno.
Major General Paul Tarfa (Rtd), expressed gratitude to the Governor for his support, which contributed to the Commission’s achievements in the state.
Receiving the cheque on behalf of the victims, Governor Babagana Umara Zulum thanked the NEDC for the donation.
