Muslim Ummah in the state have been charged to gave the Zakkat as at when due to the less privileged members of the society.
The Iman Of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Gubi Campus Dr Aliyu Umar Shehu gave the charge during the distribution of Zakkat to the windows at Federal Low cost Juma’a mosque Bauchi, organised by Ihisan Zakkat and Wakaf IZWAF.
Iman Aliyu Umar Shehu who is the adviser of the foundation, said Zakkat is one of the five pillars of Islam, hence the need for wealth individuals and philanthropists within and outside the state to assist the poor and the needy at this trying moment.
In his Remarks at the occasion, Director children from BASOVCA Alhaji Aminu Yakubu represented by the chairperson of the board Hajiya Yalwa Abubakar Tafawa Balewa said BASOVCA is ready to assist the Foundation Ihisan Zakkat and Wakaf IZWAF in assisting the Orphans and vulnerable children in the state.
Hajiya Yalwa Commended the efforts of Ihisan Zakkat and Wakaf IZWAF towards assisting the Orphans, women and children in the society.
She assured that, her doors will always remain. open for her support to the foundation.
In her welcome address, the coordinator of Ihisan Zakkat and Wakaf IZWAF foundation Hajiya Halima Ibrahim Abdullahi said the Foundation established one year in the state, is distributing Zakkat for the orphans after harvesting their farm produce to at least fifty Families to reduced their hardship.
She assured her support for the Families by giving them loan without interest to engage themselves in to Various Small Businesses to continue support their families .
Hajiya Halima Ibrahim Abdullahi called on them to utilize the loan in a good way when they receiving it and returning back for others to benefit.
Some of the beneficiaries interviewed after the distribution of the Zakkat thanked the Foundation for the gesture and they prayed may Allah to reward them abundantly.
