GOVERNOR BALA MOHAMMED RECONSTITUTES WIKKI TOURISTS FC MANAGEMENT AND TECHNICAL CREW

The Executive Governor of Bauchi State, His Excellency Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has approved the reconstitution of the Interim Management Committee and Technical Crew of Wikki Tourists FC, with immediate effect.

According to a statement issued by the club’s Media Officer, Nasiru Abdullahi, the appointments followed recommendations submitted by the club’s Interim Sole Administrator, Alhaji Haruna Bako.

The reconstitution is aimed at strengthening the club’s administrative, technical and commercial operations ahead of the new season.

NEW INTERIM MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE

The newly constituted Interim Management Committee includes former Vice President of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) and current Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Bauchi State Chapter, Umar Saidu.

Umar Saidu previously served on the Wikki Tourists FC Management Committee during the administration of Engineer Auwal Gotel. As a seasoned sports journalist, he played a significant role in promoting Wikki Tourists to the Nigeria Premier League at the time.

– Yahaya Abdulkarim
– Isa Garba Ningi – Chief Adviser

TECHNICAL AND COMMERCIAL CREW

The newly constituted technical and support team comprises:

– Bala Mohammed Abubakar – Technical Adviser
– Alhaji Aminu Dalhatu Umar – Team Coordinator
– Yakubu Yankari – Team Manager
– Musa A. Musari, DSP (Rtd) – Security Coordinator
– Mr. Jacob Onu – Chief Club Marketer, Fair Play International, Abuja
– Abdurrahman Mohammed – Liztin Communications Limited, Abuja

Mr. Jacob Onu brings more than a decade of experience in business marketing and is expected to play a key role in strengthening the club’s commercial activities, particularly in securing sponsorship and strategic partnerships.

The Bauchi-based club is expected to commence work immediately as the new management and technical team focus on repositioning Wikki Tourists FC for improved performance both on and off the pitch.

The new administration is expected to work towards restoring Wikki Tourists FC to the heights and competitive status the club enjoyed in previous years.
