Gov Bala Mohammed flags off the construction of Livestock Centre in Alkaleri LGA.
Bauchi state governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad has flagged off the construction of Kufa livestock centre in Alkaleri local government area.
During the flag off ceremony, the governor called on people of Alkaleri local government especially the Kufa community to support the project.
Represented by the State Commissioner for Agriculture Professor Simon Madugu, the governor said the project when completed would provide job opportunities to the people of Alkaleri local government, Bauchi state and the nation at large.
Speaking at the event, the world bank representative Mr Abel said, all the necessary measures for the commencement of the project are in place, hence the need for the people of Alkaleri local government to support the project.
According to him, kufa livestock center Alkaleri would comprise the livestock study center, beef production site, milk production site and other important aspect of livestock production.
In a vote of thanks the chairman care taker committee Alkaleri local government comrade Bala Ibrahim Mahmoud expressed his administration commitments to do everything possible in providing enabling environment for the success of the project in the community.
In a good will message, the District of Pali Alhaji Garba Muhammad Sambo applauded the foresight of the state governor and the world bank for the initiative.
