Communities of Kayauri embarks on self help project.

Communities of Kayauri Village in Toro Local Government have embarked on a communal work to renovate the only road linking the area with Toro Town.

The communal work organized by Kayauri Youth Progressive Forum in collaboration with the Community Leaders of the area received the support of thousands of youths from the area.

Speaking separately at the communal work the hamlet heads of the areas Malam Mohammad Sani, Malam Mohammad Sanusi Isa and Malam Mohammad Sani Ibrahim all acknowledged the support of the youths of the area and encouraged them to uphold the gesture.

They commended the organizers as well as the turn out of youths and members of the public who participated in the communal work, describing the gesture as a well come development and urged for the sustenance of the sprit as they remain focus toward supporting the exercise.

Speaking earlier, the secretary Kayauri youth progressive forum Malam Mohammad Yusuf said they were inform to embark on the communal work after observing the hardship been face by the users of the road especially when carrying their goods to market been the only access road.

Muhammad Yusuf said the three killomiter road link the Communities of Kayauri, Balo, Rabi, Jigawa and Muskuwa to Toro Town, hence to converged at the communal work to sand filled the potholes and create water ways for free use of the feeder road.

He appealed to the government at all level to support the work and help to construct culvert along the road.

In a remarks, the councilor representing Toro ward Mohammad Kabir Usman applauded people of Kayauri communities for embarking on a self-help project, describing it as solution to their immediate problems, while promising to support them.

According to him, soon the Local Government would embark on various developmental project aimed at improving the living condition of masses at the grass root and urged the communities of Kayauri to accord more support to the present administration to help them rip the dividend of democracy.
