The Emir of Bununu Emirate, Alhaji Jibrin Danlami Hassan, has paid a condolence visit to the Emir of Dass, Alhaji Usman Bilyaminu Othman, following the death of Hauwa Aliyu, mother of Bunun Dass Alhaji Nura Aliyu Usman.
During the visit, the Bununu Emir described the condolence as a reflection of the long-standing mutual understanding, unity, and strong historical bond between the people of Bununu and Dass Emirates.
He emphasized that the relationship between the two traditional institutions dates back many years and must be preserved for future generations.
As part of efforts to strengthen the historic ties, the Bununu Emir announced plans to build a Guest House for the Dass Emirate in Bununu.

According to him, the project will serve as a symbol of the enduring relationship and shared heritage between the two communities.
He also urged the people of Dass to continue supporting their Emir and remain vigilant and security conscious.
The Emir stressed the importance of collective responsibility in maintaining peace and stability, while also encouraging citizens to support the administration of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad in its efforts toward the development of Bauchi State.
In his response, the Emir of Dass, Alhaji Usman Bilyaminu Othman, expressed deep appreciation for the condolence visit and the show of solidarity by the Bununu Emir and his delegation.

He called on the people to remain prayerful and committed to sustaining peace in Bauchi State and Nigeria at large.
The Dass Emir noted that the visit would not only strengthen mutual cooperation between the two Emirates but also further cement the spirit of brotherhood that exists between their people.
