Bauchi State Ministry Of Education Launches Eco-Green Clubs Initiative.

Bauchi State Ministry Of Education has embarked on a significant environmental sustainability initiative with the establishment of Eco-Green Clubs in schools across the state.

The programme is aimed to cultivate environmental consciousness and promote sustainable practices among the younger generation.

The initiative will also involve the revitalization of agricultural clubs in schools.

To further support these efforts, the Agro-Climate Resilient and Semi-Arid Landscape Project (ACReSAL)will establish Plant Nursery Development Centers in selected secondary schools, particularly in underserved Local Government Areas.

Additionally, the program will champion the “One Person, One Tree” project to increase tree planting and green spaces within the state.

This comprehensive approach to environmental education and action underscores the Bauchi State Government’s commitment to a greener and more sustainable future.
