Bauchi state government to pay for this year’s WAEC and NECO to eligible students.

The State Government has promised to pay for all eligible students sitting for this year’s NECO, WEAC and NABTEC examinations.

Similarly, the state government will also pay JAMB for students that passed the ongoing mock examination

The state Commissioner ministry of education Dr. Jamila Dahiru stated this when she visited Government Girls Secondary School, Bauchi.

The commissioner used the occasion to asked the students in the state to read hard and write their examinations with seriousness to enable them benefited from the state gesture.

Meanwhile, the National Teachers Institution has donated a vehicle to the state association of Tsangagya teachers to enhance their activities in the state.

In his remarks at the event held at the state ministry of education, the representative of the institute Sale yahaya said the donation was in fulfilment of the earlier promised during the state education summit and tasked the association to use the vehicle towards improving both Islamic and western education in the state

On his part, the state chairman of the state tsangagya Schools Alaramma Zakari Ya’u Yusuf Dauduwo appreciated the National Teachers Institute for the gesture and promised judicious utilisation to reach all nook and crannies of the state.
