BAUCHI STATE GOVERNMENT THREATENS TO REVOKE PAYMENT OF EXTERNAL EXAMINATION TO SENIOR SECONDARY STUDENTS YET TO RESUME SCHOOL.

The State Government has threatened to revoke the payment of this year’s external examination to Senior Secondary three students who are yet to resume for the third term academic session.
The State Commissioner for Education, Dr. Jamila Muhammad Dahiru stated this when she led a monitoring and evaluation team to inspect some public schools across the state to assess resumption. compliance for the third term academic
Dr ..Jamila Dahiru also said the routine exercise is monitoring schools resumption in the state with a view to ascertain the preparation of the teacher’s working scheme and lesson plans among others .


She expressed her dismay over non challant attitude of some teachers who come to school very late, saying the state ministry of Education will henceforth not tolerate such act of misconduct.
The Commissioner called on principals and teachers to have the fear Allah and discharge their duties diligently for smooth running of the education system in the state.
On the issues of schools resumption of final year students, Dr. Jamila Muhammad Dahiru used the medium to call on parents and guardians to always send their children to schools on time especially the final year students who are about to seat for the SSCE and NECO Examinations.
Earlier, the Director Quality assurance of the ministry ,Hajiya Aishatu Ahmad Aminu urged the teachers to reach out to parents and students on the importance of early resumption to school in order to ensure effective teaching and learning.
While commending the state Commissioner for Education Dr Jamila Dahiru for her steadfastness towards complimenting Governor Bala Mohammed’s determination at improving the lost glory of the education sector in the state,
Hajiya Aishatu Ahmad Aminu also vowed to take necessary action on the students and teachers who are yet to resume to schools for the third term session.
